Viewing Subjects

Note: This page assumes you have successfully added assignments to your subjects. If you do not know how to do this, check out its tutorial on this page.

Accessing the Assignment Dashboard

Once you have added your assignments, you can access their dashboard by following the steps below:

1. Click on the View Assignments button in the subject, as shown below:

2. You will be taken to the Select Assignment Screen. Click on the Click to Select box to bring up a list of your assignments and select the one you wish to view.

3. After selecting an assignment, click on Continue to be taken to its dashboard!

You have now entered the assignment dashboard! Here, you will see a variety of options, as shown below for Mathematics Advanced's Task 1. We'll individually examine each option below:

Setting an Assignment's mark

HSC PySchool allows you to set and reset marks for your assignments using the Set Mark screen, which you can use by following these steps:

1. In the Assignment Dashboard, click on the Set Mark button.
2. You will be taken to the Set Mark screen. Enter your mark in the first box and the total mark in the second box. If you want to enter a percentage, enter your percentage score (90 for 90% etc.) in the first box and 100 in the second box, as shown below.

3. Click on the Set button to set your mark and be returned to the assignment dashboard. You have successfully set a mark for this assignment!

Assignment Preferences

To reconfigure your assignment's name or weighting, click on the Assignment Preferences button in the assignment dashboard. You will be taken to the Assignment Preferences screen. Follow the steps below to change either your assignment name or weighting:

1. Click on the field corresponding to the name or weighting you wish to switch.
2. Type in the new weighting / name and click on the button below the corresponding text box.
3. You have successfully modified the assignment! Click on Return to Menu to return to your assignment dashboard.

Deleting an Assignment

To delete an assignment, simply click on the Delete Assignment button in the assignment dashboard and accept the prompt that shows up, as shown in the screenshots below.
