HSC PySchool - Installation Guide

Below are a series of instructions to install HSC PySchool on the device of your choice. We currently support both MacOS and Windows. Navigate to the appropriate section using the sidebar to begin the tutorial!

Windows

HSC PySchool runs natively on windows, through the use of a .exe executable. Follow the steps below to install it on your device:

  1. Download the program .zip using this link.
  2. Right click on the .zip and click on Extract All..., as shown in the image below.

3. Select a folder of your choice and click on Extract. This is where the app will be run from.

4. Open the extracted folder and double click HSC PySchool.exe. Depending on your security settings, this may or may not bring up a security window as shown below.

5. If this occurs, click on More Info and Run Anyway, as shown below.

6. HSC PySchool should open in a new window.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed HSC PySchool. To use the app, simply double click on the .exe. Additionally, you can create a shortcut to the app for easy access.

MacOS

HSC PySchool is also available on MacOS, through a .dmg installer. Follow the steps below to install it on your apple device:

  1. Download the installer .dmg using this link.
  2. Double click HSC PySchool-1.0.0-x64.dmg in your downloads folder to open up a virtual disk.

3. Drag the HSC PySchool app into your applications folder.

Congratulations! You have succesfully installed HSC PySchool. The app should now be available to open in your launchpad and applications folder. For easy access, consider adding it to your dock.
